  • Crane operator responsibilities
  • Tag line, weight, conversions
  • Communication methods and hand signals
  • Load nature and load stability
  • Centre of gravity (COG)
  • Certification of lift points
  • Wire rope slings, wire rope sockets, chain slings, fiber slings
  • Hook and shackles, spreader beams, plate clamps and CCU lifting
  • General sling safety and slinging methods
