HSE Specialist
Stadler Service Azerbaijan is looking for a dedicated and proactive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist to join our growing team.
As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and compliance with Stadler’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across all operations, particularly in the maintenance and servicing of railway vehicles.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring implementation and compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards within the company.
Monitoring adherence to occupational safety and technical safety regulations during train maintenance and service operations.
Conducting risk assessments related to tools, equipment, workplaces, and working environments, and implementing preventive measures.
Overseeing the use of personal protective equipment and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Conducting HSE induction and regular safety trainings for new and existing employees.
Maintaining and monitoring safety instruction records.
Organizing emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.
Participating in incident investigations and preparing related reports with corrective and preventive actions.
Adhering to company internal policies and discipline standards.
Requirements:
University degree in a relevant technical field (Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar).
Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE or a related field.
Knowledge of occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018).
Experience in railway maintenance or repair is an advantage.
Intermediate knowledge of English and Russian.
Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Strong analytical skills, responsibility, and ability to work in a team.
