HSE Team leader
Position summary:
This position is responsible for the development, assisting in implementation and periodic auditing of the HSE Management system. The role will include the development of the HSE Empowerment, Order, Procedure, Instruction, Information, Reports and other applicable documents, arranging their approval by the relevant Authority and monitoring their proper application.
Principal responsibilities:
- Develops the HSE Empowerment, Order, Procedure, Instruction, Information, Reports and other applicable documents, arranging their approval by the relevant Authority and monitoring their proper application
- Participate in health protection, safety, organization, management and improvement of environmental protection
- To evaluate the health, safety and environmental HSE activities, to guide the staff on the procedures and to inform the direct supervisor about the results
- Ensure compliance of the Procedure, Guidelines and other applicable HSE documents in the Society with the requirements of the legislation and normative acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan
- Compile, execute, and participate in the implementation of HSE activities on current and prospective audit schedules
- Ensure that the Procedure, Instruction and other HSE documents available in the Community are updated within the required timeframes
- Participate in the development of HSE training programs
- Carry out inspections and compliance with the Company’s HSE requirements in contracting organizations, and provide feedback to the direct manager
- Follow the instructions and instructions of the direct manager in time and in good quality
- Plan and prepare the HSE Management System required documentation: e.g. procedures, plans etc.
- Conduct internal assurance audits
Requirements:
- For the preparation of the documentation for the implementation of the HSE management system
- Accountable for the conduction of the internal assurance audits
- Accountable for the preparation and verification of the system for the keeping HSE statistics, action tracker, records etc..
- To analyze the Governmental requirements and implement them into relevant Company documentation
- To coach HSE team on the Company HSE requirements
- Ability to work independently and perform key functions in assigned areas of responsibility
- Preparation of the HSE documentation based on the Company National and International standards and requirements
- Competency to perform internal assurance audits
- Ability to advise on HSE issues.
- Ability of the preparation of the HSE procedures, plans, instructions, trainings packs and other HSE related documentation
- Ability to analyze statistical data
Experience & Education:
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in HSE field
- Experience with petrochemical or oil and gas industries
- Advanced knowledge of Azerbaijani & English
- Good knowledge of Russian
- Bachelor’s degree, preferable in any technical discipline, exp. engineering
- Occupational Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH or similar qualification);
- Participant of trainings for incident investigation and analysis specialists
- Lead Auditor Certificate
- Familiar with the local HSE legislation.
