HSE engineer

Job responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with occupational safety and health requirements
• Prepare and present occupational safety and health guidelines and presentations
• Provide first aid to employees
• Supervise work at height
• Instruct employees involved in potentially hazardous work
• Assess risks in areas and equipment
• Provide daily reports to the HSE manager

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the labor legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, safety norms and rules, normative documents on labor and environmental protection
• Knowledge of fire and electrical safety
• Certificate or attestation on completion of occupational safety courses from the Azerbaijan State Scientific Research Institute of Occupational Safety and Health at the Ministry of Emergency Situations
• Attestation certificate for work at height, fire and electrical safety, certificate of participation in first aid trainings is desirable
• Ability to conduct instructions and presentations in Azerbaijani and English
• Ability to review, analyze technical documents and conduct email correspondence in English
• Ability to work in Excell, Word, Power Point and Outlook programs
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field (experience in production and warehousing is desirable)
• Age range 25-45
