QHSSE Manager

Responsible for: Manage, implement, verify and enhance the QHSE profile, culture, systems, behaviours and policies both onshore and offshore. Ensure effective management of all activities in the company related to the health and safety development, implementation, maintenance of, and compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and standards governing the safety of all material and personnel assets of the company.

Location: Onshore residential (Baku, Azerbaijan)
Employment Type: 8 hour day – office based

Job responsibilities:
Provide QA, QC, HSE services to the Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing Teams for the delivery of engineered drilling systems, subsystems, equipment and materials. Work with management to create QHSE goals, priorities and key performance measures.
Actively participate in and lead cross-functional team efforts as they relate to process improvement and the sharing of QA/QC/HSE knowledge and lessons learned.
Review, update and manage internal process standards and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable national and international standards and legislation.
Assist in the resolution of deviation requests, non-conformances, and other quality-related issues. Lead the evaluation of suppliers and inspectors at the conclusion of each project
Ensure QHSE Policies are well communicated, displayed, understood and implemented throughout operation.
Ensure the Integrated Management System (IMS) is well communicated, understood and implemented throughout the operation and continuously monitoring its effectiveness. Support the IMS Document Management System (DMS) and control process and assist with maintaining the MOC process for the IMS.
Ensure company proactively complies with regulations.
Ensure all QHSE incidents are reported, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
Maintain QHSE international certifications if applicable.
Abide by Company policies and procedures.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.


Higher education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum 10 years of general experience within the health, safety and environment field.
Experience in developing, managing and auditing of HSSEQ Management Systems within the offshore oil and gas industry
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness.
Excellent management skills.
Detail oriented, self-starter who is able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
NEBOSH Diploma or NQV Level 4 Occupational Health and Safety.
Lead Auditor Qualification (ISO 9001 or OHSAS 18001 or ISO 14001)
ISM Auditor Qualification.
